Engineering student focused on building real-world systems.

I am a mechanical engineering student with a strong interest in manufacturing, automation, and system design. I enjoy building projects that combine hardware, software, and data to solve different problems.

My work often involves microcontrollers, custom hardware, and software development using Python and C. I also run a small homelab environment where I experiment with networking, virtualization, and self-hosted systems. I am currently mentoring a high school robotics team where I work with students to design and build competitive robots for the FIRST Robotics Competition. I help them with everything from mechanical design and fabrication to programming and strategy.

In addition to engineering, I am a private pilot and enjoy aviation, and learning as much as I can about different things!

I love working on my car and my motorcycle, and I enjoy learning about mechanical systems and how they work.

Projects

RFID Battery Tracking System

A Raspberry Pi based system that tracks charging batteries using RFID readers, automatically logging usage cycles and charge time through a web interface. It features write-ahead-logging and database error correction.

Homelab Infrastructure

Self-hosted infrastructure running virtualization, networking, and development environments used for experimenting and mass storage for projects. Built using a combination of custom hardware and off-the-shelf components.

3D Printing & Mechanical Design

This 3D Printer was from an amazon return and was non-functional. I repaired and modified it to work reliably, and produce high print quality.

Software & Automation

Developing software tools in Python and C for hardware integration, automation, and data processing.
